Donald Trump presented with Man of the Decade honor at Michigan Lincoln Dinner
On Sunday evening, Donald Trump was presented as the Oakland County Republican Party’s “Man of the Decade” honor as part of his presence as the featured speaker at the Michigan Lincoln Day Dinner in 2023.
Trump enters the stage as the ceremony is being streamed live, to loud cheers of “USA!” and applause. God Bless America played in its entirety as he circled the platform back and forth.
“For seven years all of us have been fighting side by side to rescue our country from the sinister forces who truly hate our country and want to destroy it, and now we are approaching the most important battle of our lives,” Trump said, “adding this is the most important election we’ve had, without question.”
He continued with the speech that contained several of his most memorable remarks, including dismissing his serious legal difficulties as “bulls***” manufactured by Democrats and making unfounded claims of election tampering and fraud.

Trump asserted during his remarks that “no president has fought harder for Michigan than I have,” while making untrue assertions that the Biden administration’s goals for electric vehicles will “decimate” the state and that “globalist vultures” in Washington have “viciously betrayed Michigan workers and families like nobody can even believe.”
Trump claimed that if elected in 2024, before he even arrives at the Oval office, “I will have the war between Russia and Ukraine settled. I’ll do it in 24 hours. It’s not tough to do,” he boasted.

Trump added had he not been the Republican frontrunner, “all of this investigation bullshit would stop immediately.”
He describes his most recent indictment on 37 federal crimes in the case involving the classified materials as “a great badge of honor and courage. Essentially I’m being indicted for you, 200 million people that love our country,” he said.
