Nancy Pelosi worries about ‘poo poo’ left behind by Trump supporters in unseen Jan 6 footage

Previously unseen footage from the January 6 riots shows House Speaker Nancy Pelosi complaining that she would have to clean up the “poo poo” made by Trump supporters as they stormed Capitol Hill.
The video was played by the House Select Committee in what was the final public hearing before the November midterms. In the more than seven minute long video, Pelosi and Senator Chuck Schumer can be seen in several different rooms inside the Capitol as they were being moved around for their safety. It is evident in the video that the two were fully aware of the situation and how dangerous it had become.

Additionally, Pelosi can be seen conversing with then-Vice President Mike Pence where she explained to the Republican that “it could take time to clean up the poo poo that they’re making all over the – literally and figuratively – in the Capitol and that it may take days to get back.”
In an earlier part of the video, Pelosi can be seen speaking with Pence about the “bad report” she had received on the condition of the House floor as she maintained her desire to “get this job done today” referring to certifying the votes needed to officially declare the next President of the United States.

In many parts of the video, Pelosi is seen with her phone pressed against her ear as she moves through various security measures within the Capitol as she communicates to the other person on the line that the election needed to be certified or the rioters would have “complete victory.”
She goes on to say in the video that she had been told by someone that it would “take days” for the Capitol to “be okay” and reach a sense of normalcy.
