Joe Biden 100 days: List of Executive Orders signed

As soon as Joe Biden, the 46th President of the United States, was sworn in, he signed more than three dozen Executive Orders, Memoranda and Proclamations. The orders addressed the COVID-19 pandemic, economy, climate crises, immigration and racial discrimination.

Biden’s Day 1 agenda included revoking Donald Trump’s controversial ban on travel targetting Muslim countries, racial discrimination against people, LGBTQ+ community and combating the novel Coronavirus. To date, Joe Biden has signed more than 60 Executive Orders, among which 23 are a direct reversal of Trump’s policies.

Biden on his first day at the office said, “There is no time to waste when it comes to tackling the crises we face. That’s why today I m heading to the oval office to get right to work deliver bold action and immediate reliefs for American families.”, CNN reported.

Biden’s 25 first month Executive orders were more than double the amount any president in the United States has signed in their own first month.

Trump signed 7 Executive orders during his first week in office in 2017, Barak Obama signed 9, in his first week in 2019 and no president from Jimmy Carter to George W Bush signed more than 2 during their first week.
