Luka Doncic will play for “Team LeBron” in his second All-Star Game in Atlanta on Sunday night. The game is set to be broadcasted on ESPN Radio and TNT at 8 pm ET.

The 22-year-old said during a Zoom video session on Sunday that he prefers the way these games were played in the past.

Doncic said, “I think it should go back to the West and the East. That’s what I like. That’s the format I think should happen again.”

The current format features one star from each conference putting together a “draft” of select players.

Currently, Giannis in the East and LeBron in the West. While Lebron always wants Doncic on his team, it is possible that someday this would be his team. Luka may soon become a perennial MVP candidate.

On the brighter side, Luka is actually enjoying the lighter version of the games with no fans and few media persons due to COVID-19.

“For me, it’s way better. It’s quicker. You’re in and out … It’s way different. I wish the fans were here,” he said.
