Matt Gaetz was trolled for wearing a ‘red clown suit’ at the Donald Trump Waco rally on Saturday. The Florida politician called out Ron DeSantis and Ted Cruz, urging them to support the former President.
“Matt Gaetz speaking at trump’s Waco rally channeling a hotel valet in his red jacket. “Don’t scratch my car,” a Twitter user said.
“Matt Gaetz you look so damn dumb…. a red jacket? Like what are you joker or a usher?” another one said.
“Someone’s been to the dress up shop,” third user said.
“Damn, the clown suit rental shop in Waco must’ve been hopping today with @mattgaetz in town,” another user said.
“I see Matt wore 🤡 outfit today. Very fitting for the occasion,” a used said.
Trump is holding the first rally of his 2024 Presidential campaign at the Waco Regional Airport. Waco leaders expect over 15,000 people to attend the rally that starts with guest speakers at 2 pm. The former president is likely to take the stage at 5 pm.

The Republican guests of honor list include Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, and Representatives Pete Sessions, Ronny Jackson, and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Rock legend Ted Nudget will perform the “Star Spangled Banner” at 2 pm and Pastor Ramiro Pena of Christ the King Church will perform the opening prayer.
Trump is expected to speak for at least an hour, with one of the key topics being the indictment he may soon face in New York. Last weekend, he announced that he expected to be indicted and arrested on Tuesday but that did not happen.
The rally is a return to the mega-rallies reminiscent of Trump’s 2016 and 2020 campaigns, as the Republican field for the 2024 presidential race starts to take shape.
