On Sunday morning, a small plane carrying four people crashed at a golf club in South Carolina, according to authorities. According to a North Myrtle Beach police official, at least one individual died in the collision.
Around 11 a.m., the single-engine Piper PA-32 went down close to the Barefoot Resort in North Myrtle Beach, according to authorities. The first responding workers reported that the plane had crashed close to a road in a wooded area. According to a Facebook post from North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue, there was a fire that was swiftly put out.

For the victims, there was no quick way to identify them.
A woman was hurt, and medical attention was given to her. The police official said there was no information on the additional victims but that the jet was in flames and that there was a “pretty significant debris field”.

According to statements made on Sunday, both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the collision. For almost two days, the area will be off-limits while the investigation is conducted.
