Commemorating the birthday of pop sensation Britney Spears%u2019 birthday, her label RCA Records has posted a previously unreleased song called %u2018Swimming in the Stars%u2019, available to stream now and for pre-order as an exclusive vinyl pressing from Urban Outfitters.

An outtake from Spears’ 2016 album %u2018Glory%u2019, ‘Swimming in the Stars’ is the second song to emerge from the sessions, after %u2018Mood Ring (by Demand)%u2019, which was not included on the original release or deluxe edition. 

The album received a cover update in May to the surprise of many fans, changing the up-to-the-chin lacy headshot look to a full-body shot set in a desert oasis, complete with chains and a gold-leaf bikini.

The %u201CCircus%u201D singer, who was born on Dec. 2, 1981, flew to Hawaii two weeks ago to celebrate her special day early. Today she ushered in her actual birthday with boyfriend Sam Asghari, posting cute pics to Instagram with him. %u201CHappy b-day to me,%u201D Spears wrote.

The multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning icon has nearly 150 million records worldwide, selling more than 70 million albums, singles and songs in the U.S. alone. 

From her snake-featuring 2001 VMA%u2019s performance to her breakout single %u201C%u2026Baby One More Time,%u201D the artist remains one of the most revered entertainers in pop history.
