University of Idaho homicide: 4 students found dead

Four University of Idaho students were found dead Sunday. The students, who have not been identified, were believed to be the victims of homicide.

All the students involved in the incident lived in Moscow, Idaho, near the university campus.

“The Moscow Police Department is investigating and the families of these students have been notified,” university officials said in a message posted to Twitter.

Police responded to King Road following a report about an unconscious person. After arriving at the scene, police “discovered four individuals who were deceased,” according to a press statement.

The university it is cancelling classes on Monday in light of the recent tragedy. Classes will resume Tuesday.

A shelter-in-place order from U of I, which was put in place following the incident, has been lifted. However, police urged students to stay vigilant.

The Moscow Police Department (MPD) is actively investigating the homicide of four people found dead in a home near the University of Idaho.
