A shooting in Beverly Crest on Saturday early morning led to the death of at least three and injuries to four, Los Angeles Police Department said. The shooting took place in a short-term rental home and the suspect is still at large.
The identity of the victims was not released. In its report, the Associated Press noted that it was the sixth mass shooting in Los Angeles in the months of January alone.

Where is Beverly Crest?
Beverly Crest is a posh neighborhood in Los Angeles’s Westside. It is situated atop the Santa Monica Mountains.
Seargent Frank Preciado of LAPD said that the three dead victims were inside a vehicle when they were shot.

Seargent Bruce Borihanh, a spokesperson with the LAPD, said that the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals in private vehicles. Two are in critical condition, while the other two are stable, Borihanh added.
