Tommy Elliott, 63 Jim Tutt, 64 Josh Barrick, 40 Juliana Farmer, 57 were identified as the victims of a shooting at Old National Bank in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday.
According to reports, the suspect, Connor Sturgeon – a disgruntled former employee of the bank – walked into the bank with an AR-15-style rifle and shot indiscriminately at individuals. The police said Sturgeon was killed while they were responding to the scene. They did not clarify if he died as a result of self-inflicted wounds or in the exchange of bullets with responding officers.
Per reports, six people – five victims and the shooter – were killed in the shooting, and nine were injured. The police have so far named only four of victims.
Nickolas Wilt, a 26-year-old officer with the Louisville Metro Police Department, was shot in the head by the suspect. Wilt has been taken to a hospital and has had brain surgery since. Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel, the interim chief of the LMPD, said that Wilt is in a critical but stable condition.

Gwinn-Villaroel further said that the shooter was live-streaming the incident on social media, which, according to her, made it even more “tragic”.
“I will say this, that the suspect was live streaming. And unfortunately, that’s tragic. To know that that incident was out there and captured,” Gwinn-Villaroel said, adding, however, that they were “hopeful” the footage will be taken down from the internet.
According to a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation cited by CNN, the suspect’s employment at the bank was about to be terminated, and he was notified about it. He had written a note to his family and friends saying that he will shoot at the bank for revenge.
The police have not been able to recover the note yet, and there is also no clarity on whether it was digital or a physical note.
