A man is being severely criticized on social media for making hateful and controversial comments about Israel. The man has been identified as Amaury Letort.

After his act caught the limelight, several X users slammed him and reported him for his views.

Who is Amaury Letort?

According to his LinkedIn account, Amaury Letort is a product manager at Punchcut located in Brooklyn. As per his profile, he is a creative Digital Marketing and Communications professional with around 8 years of experience.

He reportedly said, “I hope your ancestors died in ovens and it will be the same for you and your family soon during a 2nd Shoah (fingers crossed). When that happens, I’m going to sh*t on Israeli flags while dancing.”

After his comments, he was criticized for his actions. Several X users circled him and reported his profile to his present organizations.

One X user wrote, “This is a particularly nasty antisemite! He needs to be contained like in Ghost Busters.”

“That is blood libel and goes beyond harassment. Maybe this evidence needs to be turned in to local and state law enforcement officials? And lawyers.” another user wrote.

One X user wrote, “It’s truly bizarre the amount of hate people hold in their hearts. It’s unnatural.”

The Anti-Defamation League’s director and CEO, Jonathan Greenblatt, said on Sunday that since Hamas’ surprise attack on October 7 in Israel, which claimed over 1,400 lives, antisemitism in the US has increased by 388 percent.

“There has been a growing and escalating trend of antisemitism,” he said. “We have witnessed its normalization, emanating both from the far right and the hard left.”

Speaking to a Senate session last week, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas reported an increase in threats directed towards Muslims and Jews in the wake of the October 7 attack.
