Who is Chandler Henderson? Wisconsin man allegedly killed, dismembered parents’ bodies, snapchat reveals

Chandler Henderson, 23, from Wisconsin allegedly killed, dismembered parents’ bodies, data from his girlfriend’s Snapchat has revealed.

The victims are Bart and Krista Halderson, who went missing in July 2021. During the investigation, data from Chandler’s girlfriend, Cathryn “Cat” Mellender, was analyzed. That is when the detectives learned that Mellender was used to tracking Chandler’s whereabouts on her phone through snapchat after he had cheated on her in the past. Early on July 3, 2021, Mellender took a screenshot on the app of Chandler’s location, which revealed that he was in a remote area near the Wisconsin River. It was the same area where his parents reportedly went missing.

Upon searching the area where Chandler had been, investigators found the remains of Chandler’s mother Krista. Next, they discovered the remains of Chandler’s father Bart 20 miles from the Halderson home, at a farm.

Upon asking around, the farm owner told detectives that she saw Chandler coming out of the farm on the night the latter’s parents went missing. Bart was shot at least twice in the back.

Who is Chandler Henderson?

Chandler Henderson is a college-aged man who was supposedly working towards obtaining his IT degree. He reported his parents, Bart and Krista Halderson, missing in July 2021.

At the time, Chandler lived with his parents in Windsor, Wisconsin. He had reportedly told police that his parents did not return after they visited the family cabin during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
