- He claimed that it took the American national security community more than nine months of top-secret planning before Biden decided to blow up the pipelines
According to an allegation by an experienced investigative journalist, the White House secretly authorized and the CIA carried out the demolition of the Nord Stream underwater gas pipes in the Baltic Sea.
As per Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh, US deep-sea divers laid mines along the pipelines that were later controlled remotely under the cover of a Nato military drill.

Who is Seymour Hersh?
Seymour Hersh is a political writer and investigative journalist from the United States. His first notable work, for which he was awarded the 1970 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting, exposed the My Lai Massacre’s cover-up during the Vietnam War.
Hersh, 85, also broke the news about the covert bombing of Cambodia and the abuse of detainees at the Iraqi jail of Abu Ghraib. He has received five George Polk Awards and two National Magazine Awards. He was also given the George Orwell Award in 2004.
What happened to the Nord Stream gas pipelines?
The Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, which cross the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany and supply cheap gas to continental Europe, were damaged in a string of massive blasts in September. The act was easily identified as a deliberate action, but the attacker has not been located.
Hersh now claims that President Biden authorized the “Black Op,” and that the CIA collaborated with Norway to carry out the strike.
In a 5,000-word piece posted on Substack, Hersh claims that the operation was concealed under the guise of a well-publicized mid-summer NATO exercise that took place in June off the coast of Germany. According to him, it took the American national security community more than nine months of top-secret planning before Biden decided to blow up the pipelines.
