A person was left dead after a gunman carried out a shooting outside a PSE&G corporate headquarters in Franklin Township, New Jersey, on Wednesday morning.

The shooting is said to have taken place outside a building at the Somerset Central Division Headquarters on Weston Canal Road near I-287 a little after 7 a.m. One man was killed from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was sitting in his work vehicle when he was shot.

It was announced that none of the employees were in immediate danger.

Franklin Township police and the Somerset County prosecutor’s office responded to the shooting after receiving an alert from the State Police Regional Operations & Intelligence Center (ROIC). The suspect was identified as Gary T. Curtis.

Who is Gary T. Curtis?

Not much is known about Gary T. Curtis yet. He is believed to be 58 years old and according to the State police, he fled from the scene in a silver 2017 Mercedes. He was being sought by authorities when he was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound from which he died. His body was found in a car in the parking lot of TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater.

There are also unconfirmed reports that Curtis apparently worked in the past as a maintenance supervisor at PSE&G and that he was a disgruntled employee.
