19-year-old Caitlyn Loane, rising Australian TikTok star, dies by suicide

A 19-year-old fourth-generation farmer, Caitlyn Loane, who was a rising TikTok star died by suicide after posting a haunting final video, reports New York Post. She was famous for sharing videos of her action-packed rural lifestyle of her parents cattle farm in Tasmania. She worked as a livestock manager at the 1,400-acre (2.3-square-mile) cattle farm, News.com.au reported.

She had 51,000 followers on the video-sharing app and she shared her day-to-day routine — which ranged from treating sick heifers to showcasing her latest country couture.

Her final video currently has over 170,000 views and depicted a photo montage of the pioneering farmer’s life set to a song asking, “How far would you drive for the girl of your dreams?” In the caption, she wrote, “How about to Tasmania?”

Loane’s family said they were devastated by the loss, adding she was a crazy young woman, who loved life. Her classmate said she was beautiful girl.

“In 2018, I realized that school wasn’t giving me the skills and experience I needed, so I applied to the Sunday Creek Cattle Station, in the Northern Territory, so I could gain experience and learn more,” Loane said at the time. “Up there the properties are huge, and they muster with helicopters and on horseback.”

A local sports club, which Loane was a part of, paid tribute to her. Her followers and fans condoled her death and wrote “Sad day for Tassie TikTok,” wrote one crestfallen fan on Loane’s moving final video montage.
