Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams’ star wide receiver, was spotted on the sideline, watching his side’s Week 14 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The two sides locked horns at the SoFi Stadium on Thursday.
Australian boxer Tim Tszyu also attended the game. The 28-year-old met Kupp ahead of the game.

“It was cool. He had this good energy about him,” Tszyu said about the meeting with Kupp, adding that they bonded over the frustration of injury layoffs. “He was really supportive. We just shared the same experiences as athletes. It’s good to just share what it’s like on the sidelines.”
The announcement that Tszyu will face Charlo for the title at the Michelob Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on January 28th, 2023, rather than the MGM Grand Garden Arena as had been rumoured, occurred just hours earlier.
The 28-year-old boxer got a taste of the US sports scene ahead of his match up with Charlo. His presence at the Raiders vs Rams game also helped to build the hype around the fight.
As Tszyu prepares to get into the ring at MGM, he will remember his father Kostaya’s exploits at the arena. Senior Tszyu won his first world championship there in 1995.
In 2001, he returned for his masterpiece, knocking out Zab Judah to unify the super-lightweight division. These two events were perhaps the two biggest nights of his career.
Although Tszyu’s bout will not be at the MGM Arena, he was glad that it was at least in Las Vegas. He has many memories staying at the Mandalay Bay and will relish it again when he returns for the fight coming January.
“It’s in Vegas, that’s all I wanted – Vegas, the big bright lights,” the boxer said.
“I know the venue very well. It’s the only hotel in Vegas I actually stay at, there’s no surprises there. It’s kind of like a second home. Dad fought there for a couple of world titles and won. I’ll be doing the same on January 28th,” he added.
