Kevin Durant has responded to fans on Twitter for questioning his legacy. He hit back at a tweet asking the question with a hashtag ‘I #runiedthegame?’ Since asking for a trade-in in early July, Durant has been relatively quiet on his favored social media option, which he has used a lot in the past to answer the fans and respond to his haters.
Nets Superstar is awaiting the answer to the trade request he made to his current team a month ago. Durant also had a private one-to-one meeting with Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai on August 9 in London. Durant offered an ultimatum to the team as he demanded that whether he be traded or the team needed to part ways with Head Coach Steve Nash and General Manager Sean Marks, as reported by the Athletic.

Kevin Durant has 4-years and $198 million left on the deal that he had signed a summer prior.
A Twitter user mentioned Durant in his tweet, saying that it was his legacy and he left the game in a worse situation than he found it. Following this, the 2013-14 NBA MVP responded as ‘I #ruinedthe game’?
Another user mentioned Durant in a tweet, saying that it was his legacy only that he left OKC to join Steph Curry at Golden State after losing to them, then followed Kyrie Irving to Brooklyn and now wants to get traded. Durant responded as:

Since being swept by the Celtics in the first round of the 2022 NBA playoffs, there have been a lot of rumors surrounding the former 2-time Finals MVP. He has been linked to a number of teams including the Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors but none of these talks have materialized.
Reports have also claimed that he wants out of Brooklyn because of the unreliability of Kyrie Irving to play for the Nets and his stance against the Covid Vaccine.
But as the season approaches and training camp arrives, it will be worth seeing whether the team trades their best player or not.
