When is the FBI going to raid Joe Biden?’ Donald Trump reacts to classified document discovery
- Donald Trump reacted to the news of classified documents found at Joe Biden's private office
- The office was used by Biden when he served as an honorary professor at the University of Pennsylvania
- The Obama-Biden era documents have prompted a review by the Justice Department
Former President Donald Trump reacted to the news of the Justice Department is reviewing classified documents from President Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president that were found in a private office Biden used by him.
“When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House? These documents were definitely not declassified,” Trump said on his Truth Social account, sharing an article from CBS News.
In his post, Trump was referring to the FBI’s raid last summer at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, where investigators found more than a hundred classified documents that he had kept after his time in the White House.

Meanwhile, the Obama-Biden era documents were found at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington. The FBI is also involved in the US attorney’s inquiry, CBS News reported.
The office was previously used by Biden at the time when he served as an honorary professor at the University of Pennsylvania, according to Biden’s special counsel Richard Sauber.
“The White House is cooperating with the National Archives and the Department of Justice regarding the discovery of what appear to be Obama-Biden Administration records, including a small number of documents with classified markings,” Sauber said in a statement. “The documents were discovered when the President’s personal attorneys were packing files housed in a locked closet to prepare to vacate office space at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C. The President periodically used this space from mid-2017 until the start of the 2020 campaign. On the day of this discovery, November 2, 2022, the White House Counsel’s Office notified the National Archives. The Archives took possession of the materials the following morning.”

“The discovery of these documents was made by the President’s attorneys,” Sauber added. “The documents were not the subject of any previous request or inquiry by the Archives. Since that discovery, the President’s personal attorneys have cooperated with the Archives and the Department of Justice in a process to ensure that any Obama-Biden Administration records are appropriately in the possession of the Archives.”
