Who are the 8 suspected shooters named in Sidhu Moose Wala murder case

Punjab police have identified the eight shooters who killed Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala on May 29. The shooters are from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra. Police teams have conducted raids in all four states.

1. Manpreet Singh Mannu of Moga, Punjab, is the first of the accused. He was taken to Mansa after being imprisoned in one of Punjab’s jails.
2. Amritsar’s Jagroop Singh Rupa was the second accused.
3. Manni, also from Amritsar is the third to be accused in this case.
4. Priyavrat Fauji of Haryana’s Sonipat is the fourth accused. He was a sharpshooter and a member of the Ramkaran gang. Haryana police have announced a cash reward of 25,000 for information leading to his arrest.
5. Ankit Sersa Jati, a citizen of Sonipat in Haryana, also an accused in this case, has no criminal record.
6. Santosh Jadhav, a resident of Pune, is accused in the Moose Wala murder case.
7. Saurav Mahakal, also from Pune, is accused number seven.
8. Subhash Banuda, 28, of Rajasthan’s Sikar is the last on the list of accused.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by a group of attackers last Sunday in Jawahar Ke village in Mansa, a day after the Punjab government reduced his protection. According to the post-mortem report, his body had 19 bullet wounds and he died within 15 minutes of being shot.

Goldy Brar, a mobster stationed in Canada, claimed responsibility for the murder in a Facebook post, prompting his associate Lawrence Bishnoi, a gang boss imprisoned in Delhi’s Tihar prison, to be questioned.

So far, three people have been arrested.

Devendra, alias Kala, was apprehended by Punjab Police in Fatehabad, Haryana, based on information gleaned during the interrogation of the two other arrested suspects. The police had obtained information that Kala housed two accused murderers, Keshav and Charanjeet, on May 16-17.

Pavan and Naseeb were previously apprehended in Bhirdana.
