Mo Farah is one of the most decorated long-distance runners in the world. He won four gold medals in the Olympics. He recently revealed his child-trafficking story that took the world by storm. The Somalian-British track-and-field runner is the only British person to complete the 5000m-10000m double twice in Olympics. He achieved the feat in the London Olympics 2016 and repeated the triumph in 2016.

Sir Mohamed Muktar Jama Farah was officially knighted by the Queen of England in 2017. The 39-year-old athlete has won 27 Gold medals including 4 at the Olympics and 6 at the world championships. Mo Farah began his junior-career at 13 when he ran for Hounslow in the London Youth Games. His raw talent was identified by his school teacher Alan Watkinson who also helped the Somalian-born get British citizenship.

Farah recently told the world about his past. He said that his name is Hussain Abdi Khan and that he was trafficked by some ‘unknown people’. According to his most recent revelation, his father had died during Somalia’s civil unrest. Farah used long-distance running as a distraction from his traumatised childhood and later went on to become the greatest long-distance runners in Great Britain.
The British athlete had a childhood dream to play as a right-winger for Arsenal Football Club. He became the most successful male track and field runner in 2017 when he bagged his 10th Global championship Gold medal (4 in Olympics, 6 in World Championships) at London IAAF World Championships.

Farah was Born in Mogadishu, Somalia. He was only 9 when he got trafficked to London in 1992. He studied at Feltham Community College in London. He said that he was forced to work as a servant after getting trafficked to London by a woman who ripped his real papers and gave him a fake identity that the world identified him with until his recent revelation.
