Tremaine Aldon Neverson, also known as Trey Songz, is an American singer and songwriter who has lit up social media recently since the leak of an alleged sex tape

Best known for the songs ‘Can’t Get Enough’ and ‘Can’t Help But Wait’, Trigga – as he is also known – has not confirmed whether it is in fact him in the leaked video clip.

However, he has seemingly responded to the controversy with a couple of post on his social media.

In the post uploaded on Instagram, Songz can be seen holding his phone with a confused look on his face. He captioned the post with just a flush-faced emoji.

The 36-year-old R&B star also shared a link to the song ‘Don’t Judge’ from his 2011 album Anticipation II.

Born in Petersburg, Virginia, Songz shot to fame with his 2007 album ‘Trey Day’ which included his first top 20 single ‘Can’t Help but Wait’.

The 2009 album ‘Ready’ featured the song ‘Say Aah’, his first song to break into the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100, which peaked at number 9 of that list.

The album was also nominated for the Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 2008 Grammy Awards.

He then released his fourth album, ‘Passion, Pain & Pleasure’, which included his highest charting song to date, ‘Bottoms Up’,  featuring Nicki Minaj.

Songz received a second Grammy Award nomination in 2013 for the single ‘Heart Attack’ from the album ‘Chapter V’, which was nominated for the Best R&B Song.

Last week, Songz was arrested by Kansas City Police for not following the coronavirus protocols while attending a Kansas City Chiefs football match.

According to a report in TMZ, police officials said fans were complaining after Songz was not wearing a mask at the Arrowhead Stadium and police had to be called after security officials could not get him to comply.
