In their first game of the Women’s T20 Challenge, the Trailblazers started off their campaign with an emphatic nine-wicket victory against Velocity.
Powered by sensational spells from Sophie Ecclestone and Jhulan Goswami, Trailblazers restricted Velocity to a meagre total of 47-all out in 15.1 overs.
Then Deandra Dottin, with her 28-ball 29 not out, carried the Smriti Mandhana-led side over the line. The massive victory will beef up Trailblazers’ net run-rate.
