World Listening Day quotes

July 18, every year, is observed as World Listening Day. The day was started under the World Listening Project 2010. The day honours the birthday of Raymond Murray Schafer. He was a Canadian composer and environmentalist who is the founder of acoustic ecology.

Listening is a crucial skill that helps humans connect with others, learn new things and resolve conflicts. On this day, people around the world are encouraged to take some time to listen to their surroundings. This can be done by listening to the sounds of nature, listening to podcasts, or listening to the people around.
