The government on Tuesday announced the cancellation of CBSE class 12 board exams
due to the uncertain COVID-19 situation in India. The decision of Prime
Minister Narendra Modi was in the favour of the students and brought an end to
the anxiety among them.

The decision was taken at a high level meeting chaired by PM Modi. It was decided that CBSE will take steps to compile the results of Class
XII students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.
