Amitabh Bachchan is a man who needs no introduction in Indian households.
The legendary actor is still going strong in his 70s. At an age when majority
of the people choose to enjoy retirement, Big B’s work ethic is commendable.

While
most of the Indian population is familiar with his movie hits in the 1900’s, we
take a moment to look at some of his best works of this millennium.

Baghban

Amitabh
plays the role of a father who raised four sons along with his wife. The
parents hoped for their kids to take care of them once they reach old but
things do not turn out that way. They are treated in an improper manner and
forced to live in a cruel arrangement.

Sarkar
(2005)

Sarker, a
resident of Mumbai, is an influential personality who is falsely charged for
murdering a popular politician. His son Shankar tries his best to protect his father’s
legacy. Incidentally, the son’s role is performed by Abhishek Bachchan.

Paa

Big B plays
the role of a 13-year-old boy who suffers from a rare genetic defect which
causes accelerated aging. His mother is a gynecologist while his father is a
politician.

Badla

The actor
stars alongside Taapsee Pannu in the crime thriller. A young married women
finds herself in a difficult situation when she is stuck in a hotel room with
the dead body of her lover. She hires a prestigious lawyer to help solve the
mystery.

Piku

Piku and
her father commence on a road trip to Kolkata which helps the two get closer to
each other in spite of their disparate ideologies and fights over small issues.
The film features Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan alongside Amitabh Bachchan.

Pink

A girl is
molested by a politician’s nephew and files an FIR against the man. However,
the case gets rigged and a retired lawyer gets back in the game to help the
girls win the case.
