Arjun Kapoor’s ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ not to hit theatres, takes the OTT route for release

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor on Saturday announced that his
upcoming movie ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ will be released on streaming platform
Netflix. The movie also features Rakul Preet Singh and ‘Badhai Ho’ actor Neena
Gupta.
The ‘2 States’ actor on Saturday took to Instagram to share his first look from the movie. The caption alongside the post read, “Gather your parents and grandparents for this one, Sardar ka Grandson is coming soon.”
‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ marks the directorial debut of Kaashvie
Nair, who previously assisted filmmaker Nikkhil Advani on 2013 action thriller
“D-Day” and co-directed TV series “POW: Bandi Yuddh Ke”.
Apart from this, Arjun has several other Bollywood projects lined up which includes black comedy ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Farar’, set for
March 19 release, and horror comedy ‘Bhoot Police’ to hit theatres on September 10.
