Celebs enjoy desi delicacies at Priyanka Chopras restaurant in NYC

Priyanka
Chopra Jonas, a multi-faceted personality, who is an actor, singer, and film
producer, is now a restaurant owner. She opened her first restaurant ‘Sona’ in New York recently. Sona has list of desi dishes on
the menu, from paani puri to dosa and kulcha. The restaurant has earmarked itself for its chic decorations, the ambience and its lip-smacking dishes since its launch on March 26, 2021.

We’ve seen
celebrities like Mindy Kaling, prominent journalist Tom Nichols, and others
enjoying  a range of Indian delicacies at
Sona in the past. Lola James Kelly, a well-known filmmaker and theatre figure,
has jumped on board.

Lola
recently dined at Priyanka Chopra’s restaurant, where she ate Mumbai’s famous
vada pav with hari mirchi on the side. She also tasted maize bhel, chaat, and
other dishes. She captioned a photo of her supper on Instagram,  “No surprise @sonanewyork is exceptional. @priyankachopra does not
miss!”

Earlier, Mindy Kaling visited the restaurant on her trip to
New York and shared a post saying, “Had the most amazing meal at Priyanka
Chopra’s restaurant Sona New York.” The post featured Mindy with the
restaurant menu card. She further suggested, “Get the cashew chicken
meatballs, the Goan fish curry and the gruyere dosa! Perfection.”

 The ‘Quantico’ star
reacted quickly to Mindy Kaling’s tweet. “So happy you had a nice
time,” she remarked beside the latter’s Instagram story along with a heart
emoji.

In terms of work, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is presently filming
her Amazon Prime series ‘Citadel’ in London. She will also star alongside Mindy
Kaling in an Indian wedding comedy.
