The actor went on to say that director Raju Hirani will agree with him because ‘Circuit’ didn’t have much going for it on paper. Arshad reveals that he only agreed to play the role because actor Sanjay Dutt was in the lead. “I did Munna Bhai because it was Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) because even Raju (director Rajkumar Hirani) knows it’s a stupid role.” On paper, it was absolutely nothing. Arshad added that he accepts or rejects characters based on the potential of a script. “I listen to any script solely as a member of the audience. Would I want to see what I am doing?  It can be of any genre or subject matter, but it must be entertaining to the audience. After hearing the story, your gut instinct will tell you whether or not you want to make the film. “

Meanwhile, Arshad had been promoting his upcoming film, Bachchan Pandey. He will appear alongside Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Kriti Sanon. The film is set to be released on March 18, 2022.

The actor was most recently seen in Durgamati, which was released on Amazon Prime Video. Bhumi Pednekar played the lead in the film.
