Britney Spears has disappeared from Instagram without a trace, sending her 40 million followers into a tizzy.
The fans of the 40-year-old singer woke up on Wednesday to notice that her account had disappeared off the site.
“Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed,” her official account now reads.
This sparked concerns among fans, some of whom took to Twitter to question what was happening.
“What happen to Britney Spears Instagram account??” one person asked.
“Britney Spears deactivated her Instagram account. I am deactivating my whole social media. I cant live without her videos,” another Tweeted.
“I’m going to miss Britney Spears on Instagram,” wrote another user.

The singer was very active on the social media platform and had been using it to talk about family drama and conservatorship. She had also been giving her fans a glimpse into her relationship with fiancé Sam Asghari.
Her break from the platform comes days after she shared an update about her and Asghari’s newest puppy Sawyer.
“My baby is getting bigger … I will just say it just like when my boys got bigger,” she wrote along with several photos of her looking into the camera while holding her new puppy.

Britney had previously taken a break from the platform in September last year, amid her fight to end her conservatorship.
“Don’t worry folks … just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement !!!! I’ll be back soon,” she tweeted on September 14.
