The Marvel series “Daredevil: Born Again” is undergoing a major creative rewrite, as reported by Variety.

Chris Ord and Matt Corman, the show’s head writers, recently left Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series, and the project is currently looking for new talent to help it take a new direction. Despite this, Ord and Corman will continue to be listed as executive producers.

Marvel has further chosen to reveal the directors for the remaining episodes of the season, with little under half of the 18-episode order of the show having been filmed before the start of the SAG-AFTRA strike. A new creative direction for the series is actively being pursued by Marvel, even though some of the previously filmed content will be included.

It turns out that less than half of the episode had been filmed, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Kevin Feige came to the conclusion that the current footage did not live up to his expectations after carefully examining it. Because of this, Marvel Studios fired the directors of the remaining episodes and head writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman last month.

The actors’ protracted strike has made it impossible for “Daredevil” to resume full-scale production. To find a solution, the actors and the studios are currently negotiating. The Writers Guild of America just reached a new agreement with the studios, ending their own strike with triumph. Earlier this week, the accord was approved by a resounding 99% of the guild’s membership.

In the next series, Charlie Cox will return to the character of Matt Murdock, better known as Daredevil, opposite Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk. The two previously appeared together on film in the 2015–2018 Marvel/Netflix series “Daredevil.”

In June, they also debuted “Secret Invasion,” which starred Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. 2024 is expected to see the release of highly anticipated programs like “Echo,” starring Alaqua Cox, and “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,” starring Kathryn Hahn.
