With the release of Staying Alive, Drake became the artist to have the most top five hits in Billboard Hot 100 history. According to Billboard, this is his 30th top five hit. The Canadian singer surpassed The Beatles 29 top five hits.

The Beatles have held the record to have 29 top five hits for 55 years. The Beatles claimed 55 years out of Billboard Hot 100’s 64-year history. Drake’s track, Staying Alive is from DJ Khaled’s new album God Dig. It features Drake and Lil Baby. The song has over 100 million views on YouTube. The song Staying Alive is an interpolation of Bee Gees’ iconic disco song Stayin’ Alive.
According to musictimes.com, Bee Gees, Stayin’ Alive peaked at 59 on the Billboard Hot 100 all-time chart. It was included in Rolling Stone’s The 100 Best Singles of the Last 25 Years, 1989 edition. It was also included in the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time 2004 edition.

Following Drake and The Beatles is Madonna with 28 top five hits, Mariah Carey with 27, Janet Jackson with 26, Rihanna with 23 and Elvis with 21. Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber and Stevie Wonder share a spot with 20 top fives.
The Beatles, with 20 singles, still hold the title of the most number one singles of all time. They are followed by Mariah Carey and Elvis with 19 and 18 singles respectively.
Drake shared the news on his Instagram and captioned it as “ok I broke my records for the month now and me and @stake need you to do your thing Bitcoin”. The post was followed by an announcement made by Chart Data and Billboard.
