Kapil Sharma confirms ‘second baby’, to go on paternity break

Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma is soon to going to be a father again as he has confirmed that he and his wife, Ginni Chatrath, are expecting their ‘second baby’. When a Twitter user asked him that why ‘The Kapil Sharma show’ is going off-air, he responded saying, “Bcoz I need be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby(sic),” 

Kapil and Ginni are parents to a one-year-old daughter, Anayra. 

When a user asked: “What you want for Anayra…baby brother or sister?” he wrote: “Boy or girl, tandrust ho bus.”

The actor-comedian’s announcement of paternity break received a lot of applaud on social media. 

Anna MM Vetticad, author of “The Adventures of an Intrepid Film Critic”, congratulated him and posted, “It’s great to see prominent men announcing paternity breaks. The snide remarks aimed at them are proof of the discomfort caused by anyone disrupting the patriarchal status quo. Every kid needs an involved Dad.”

In January, Kapil hinted at ‘good news’ in a post on Twitter and soon, fans started speculating that he might announce that he is expecting a second child or a new project.
