Koffee with Karan 7: Couch debutant Samantha Ruth Prabhu joins veteran Akshay Kumar in episode 3

The third episode of ‘Koffee with Karan‘ season 7 will see debutant Samantha Ruth Prabhu sharing the couch with veteran Akshay Kumar. The teaser of the same was shared by Karan Johar on Tuesday.

The 55-second teaser begins with Akshay entering the sets carrying Samantha in his arms. 

“You know you are carrying the number 1 female star on your number 1 shoulders,” Karan says. 

The host then starts talking about Samantha’s marriage. She interrupts saying, “You know you are the reason for unhappy marriages.”

The clip then cuts to Akshay Kumar says he will pay for Chris Rock’s funeral if he would have made fun of his wife Twinkle Khanna. For those unversed, this is in reference to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock on the Oscars 2022 stage for making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head.

The teaser ends with the two trying various dance forms.

The seventh season of the popular celebrity chat show aired on July 7. The first episode saw Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh gracing the couch. From Alia revealing how Ranbir Kapoor proposed to her to Ranveer talking about his equation with Deepika Padukone’s parents, the first episode saw the two spill some secrets about their respective personal and professional lives. 

The second episode featured Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan spilling some beans on how their friendship blossomed.

The episode became the talk of the town, thanks to host’s revelation that the actors dated two brothers. However, amid all the hype, some Sara Ali Khan fans noted that the host was “biased” towards Janhvi Kapoor. These fans tweeted about the same, slamming Karan Johar for showing “favoritism”.
