Money Heist Season 5 is now streaming in India

Money Heist season five, volume one is now streaming on Netflix in India and around the world. The show will come to an end with season five. Volume two of season five will release in December 2021. 

The makers of the show revealed the reasons why they decided to end the internationally hit Spanish show. In a chat with the Indian Express, Alex Pina, the creator and showrunner of Money Heist said, “We’ve made over 2,000 minutes of fiction with two heists. I think we’ve exhausted some of the characters’ emotional arcs and their arcs of transformation.”

He added, “We’ve told a lot and I think it’s a good time to stop. It’s a very climatic season and I think it’s always better to leave sooner rather than later.”

The makers also revealed the names of five episodes with a YouTube video. The first episode, titled ‘The End of the Road’, saw Alicia Sierra torturing the Professor. In the second episode, ‘Do You Believe in Reincarnation’, Denver, Lisbon and Manila are back in action mode.

The third episode titled ‘Welcome to the Show of Life’, teased Tokyo reuniting with Rio. The fourth episode, ‘Your Place in Heaven’, showed the roof of the Bank of Spain being blown away by the army. And in the final episode of volume one of season five titled ‘Live Many Lives’, the Professor was shocked to see his brother Berlin sitting on the couch.

Money Heist season five returns with the original cast with the addition of three new characters. Actors Álvaro Morte (The Professor), Úrsula Corberó (Tokyo), Miguel Herrán (Rio), Itziar Ituño (Lisbon), Esther Acebo (Stockholm), Jaime Lorente (Denver), Najwa Nimri (Alicia Sierra), and Rodrigo de la Serna (Palermo) will be back on the show.

Miguel Ángel Silvestre, who essayed the role of Rene, Tokyo’s former boyfriend will make an appearance through flashbacks. Patrick Criado will play the role of Berlin’s (Pedro Alonso) son Rafael. José Manuel Seda will essay the role of Sagasta the commander of the Spanish Army’s Special Forces.
