Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal wedding : Guest list and all you need to know

Bollywood actors Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha begin their wedding festivities on September 29 in Delhi. Their reception is supposed to be at the Great Eastern Home. The unconventional inter-religious marriage has a highly creative matchbox-shaped wedding invite that reads “couple matches”.  Such creative endeavours. coupled with other novel features, distinguish the marriage as a unique event.

Guest list and Menu:

Along with family and friends, the guest list includes famous Hollywood actors Gerard Butler of 300 fame and Judi Dench, most known for her portrayal of the stern, firm, no nonsense bureaucrat M from the relatively recent James Bond films (Pierce Brosnan films and the first four of Daniel Craig). While Fazal shared screen space with Butler in the Hollywood film Kandahar, he co-acted with Dench in Victoria and Abdul. However, the participation of the two Hollywood big names in the wedding programmes hasn’t been confirmed yet. As a person born in Amritsar and brought up in Delhi, Richa Chadha has a special bond with the national capital. It may be found in the specially curated food menu that includes chhole bhature from Rajouri Garden, Natraj ki Chaat, Chatori Gali ka Ram laddoo and more. The marriage has replaced a standard, elaborate buffet with a creative pick-and-eat manner of serving things from appetisers to desserts. For example, if it is rice and gravy, it will be served in a jar for a single portion size such that people can pick it up and use a spoon while hanging around.

Venue and costume:

Richa Chadha is expected to wear a creation of designer Rahul Mishra for her sangeet and a Kresha Bajaj outfit for the cocktail. Ali will be donning elegant dapper outfits by Abu Jaani, Sangeet Khosla, and Shantanu Nikhil. The festivities’ venue near Delhi has been decorated with elements including wood, florals, jute etc, which clearly manifests the couple’s love for nature.
