Richa Chadha and her fiance Ali Fazal were pictured at the Mumbai airport on Wednesday as the couple flew out to Delhi ahead of their wedding.

Actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, who have been dating since 2015, are finally tying the knot in October this year.  The pre-wedding festivities are set to begin in late September and the wedding is scheduled to be held in the first few days of October at the iconic The Great Eastern Home in Delhi.

Who is Richa Chadha?

Richa Chadha was born on 18th December 1986 in Amritsar, Punjab to Somesh Chadha, a management firm owner, and Kusum Lata Chadha, a professor at the PGDAV College in Delhi.

The 35-year-old actress completed her education in New Delhi and has a Bachelors degree in History and a diploma degree in Social Communications Media.

After working as a model and a theatre artist for some years, Chadha pursued acting; gaining her first role in the 2008 Dibakar Banerjee-directed comedy film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!. She appeared in a supporting role in Benny and Babloo (2010) before gaining her breakthrough role as Nagma Khatoon Khan in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur-Part 1 in 2012. In an interview, Chadha stated that it was the role of Nagma that really helped her gain further roles in Bollywood. She went on to star in several critically acclaimed movies like Gangs of Wasseypur-Part 2 (2012), the cult comedy Fukrey (2013), Masaan (2015), Sarbjit (2016), and Panga (2020). Chadha has achieved impeccable success as an actress and continues to take up challenging roles in her career.

Richa Chadha met actor Ali Fazal in 2012 and they started dating in the year 2015. After getting engaged in 2019, the couple is looking forward to their wedding this year.
