Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is synonymous with Bigg Boss. Thanks to his signature charisma, the actor, who has been hosting the controversial reality show since 2010, has managed to attract millions of watchers across the world. From being a friend to a loving mentor to reprimanding the contestants for their behaviour, the actor has managed to win several hearts through the years.

Salman has also received a very handsome remuneration for hosting the show. According to several reports, he was paid Rs 350 crores for the 15th season, which means he earned approximately Rs 25 crores for each weekend.

Let’s take a look at the actor’s fees over the years –
Salman was reportedly paid Rs 2.5 crore per episode for Seasons 4,5 and 6. He was paid Rs 5 crore per episode for Bigg Boss 7. He apparently took home Rs 8 crore per episode for Seasons 9 and 10 and went on to earn Rs 11 crore per episode the following season. For season 12 of Bigg Boss, he took home Rs 12 crore per episode and for the 13th season, he was paid Rs 13 crore per episode.
Last year, the actor reportedly took a pay cut to ensure that the show continues during the pandemic year.

“This is the reason why I am doing this season of Bigg Boss. It’ll provide employment to people, there’s a very large unit, they will start getting their salary, they’ll be able to get ration for their homes,” he had said during a press conference.
