Watch: Travis Kelce joins Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross at Kelce Jam music, food festival

On Friday night, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce organized a music and food festival in Kansas City. Among the names who played for the 19,000-odd crowd were Machine Gun Kelly and Rick Ross. The event was named ‘Kelce Jam’.

The highlight of the event was the tight end hitting the stage at one point with the 2023 Vince Lombardi Super Bowl trophy he won with the Chiefs. As he kicked off the festival, Kelce brought the trophy to the stage, poured beer drank beer from it.

He then joined Machine Gun Kelly and sang the band’s 1986 hit song Fight For Your Right. As reported by TMZ, Kelce was very much up to the task and sang along quite well and got the crowd “all riled up”.

The report further says that at one point during the performance of Fight For Your Right, Kelce gave Machine Gun Kelly a “massive hug” and lifted him off the ground.

At the request of the crowd, they then did an encore performance of the same song. Apparently, the performance went on for “nine headbanging minutes”.

There were also a few heartwarming moments during Machine Gun Kelly’s event. For example, at one point, he invited two 7-year-old girls to help him sing My Ex Best Friend. He also autographed their t-shirts. Kelce was so touched by Machine Gun Kelly’s attitude that he led to the crowd to chant ‘MGK’.

Following that, it was time for Rick Ross to create a stir. The renowned music industry executive, who is also the owner of several Wingstop franchises, organized an on-stage competition for eating chicken wings between two fans of the Chiefs team.

Hayden Gillum emerged as the victorious contestant by devouring 19 wings within a span of 90 seconds, and was awarded the winner’s trophy.
