Singer-songwriter-guitarist David Crosby has died after long illness. He was 81 years old. He was a founding member of two popular and enormously influential 1960s rock units, the Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
The iconic band Crosby, Stills, Young and Nash has left an
everlasting mark on the music industry with their sings and creations. The band
was initially formed by David Crosby and Stephen Stills. Later, they were joined
by Graham Nash and Neil Young. While the group was initially formed in 1968,
they saw their first big hit in 1970 when they released their album titled Déjà
Vu. It is one of their best-selling albums and went on to sell 8 million copies
with three hit singles.

Fans were shocked after Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
parted ways. After the band stopped making the buzz from 2015 onwards, it was
finally disclosed in 2016 about what led to the split.

The unexpected break up was a result of a bitter feud with
their fellow bandmate, David Crosby. Singer Graham Nash further revealed that
he and David are no longer friends after he sent him several problematic
emails. He also accepted that they haven’t been on the best of terms for
the last two to three years now.

In a 2021 interview with The Howard Stern Show, David Crosby talked about his tumultuous relationships with the other members of the band saying there’s next to zero chance of the group ever reuniting due to some serious old-man drama.

Crosby said that the other members of CSNY, specifically Young and Graham, will likely never speak to him again. “Neil’s got a legitimate beef because I dissed his girlfriend. I get it. I apologized for it with you — you helped me do that,” Crosby told Stern. “Nash kind of seems to think that I’m responsible for everything wrong since the Korean War, which is weird, but it’s okay,” he added.

However, Crosby claimed that he and Stephen Stills are cool. David Crosby had no bad blood and wished Young, Nash, and Stills all the best in their endeavors.
