‘Wish corona a speedy recovery’: Netizens troll COVID positive Kangana Ranaut

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut on Saturday said that she has tested positive for coronavirus. In a long Instagram post, the 34-year-old actor said she had no idea that the virus was “having a party” in her body. Kangana added that she has quarantined herself and “will demolish the virus”.

” …come let’s destroy this Covid -19 it is nothing but a small time flu which got too much press and now psyching few people,” Ranaut said in her Instagram post. 

While many of Kangana’s fans wished her a speedy recovery, other internet users wasted no time and started trolling her in the comment section. “Wish corona a speedy recovery,” a user wrote. 

“Feel sad for Corona Virus. Virus caught a Virus,” another said.

A user wrote, “Plant trees at your house. Oxygen ki kami nahi hogi (There will not be any deficiency of oxygen ). While another wrote, “Do u need tree ??.”

These remarks come as a few days ago the actor on her Twitter account, which has now been permanently suspended, said that people should just plant trees at home instead of rushing for oxygen during its shortage.

Some people even criticised Kangana for dubbing COVID-19 “a small-time flue” in her post’s caption.

Notably, Kangana has been criticised and trolled online multiple times in the past for her contentious remarks on several Bollywood celebrities, political leaders and religious matters.
