Anjeer (figs) is loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, fibre, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and copper. Dried anjeer has a higher concentration of antioxidants and minerals than the fresh fruit. In 100 gm of dried figs you will find around 9.8 gm of dietary fibre, whereas fresh figs contain around 2.9 gm of fibre. Similarly, fresh figs contain 0.75 gm of healthy protein whereas dried figs contain around 3.3 gm.

How to make anjeer milk at home:

Boil one glass of milk and add 3-4 dried figs. Boil the mix and add 2-3 saffron strands if you want to enhance the flavor.

If you don’t want to mix it with milk, you can eat 2-3 dried figs with warm milk separately.
