Cannes 2022: Deepika Padukone stuns in all-black on Day 5. See pics

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone channeled her inner Bond girl in a black bodycon gown on the fifth day of the 75th Cannes Film Festival. 

On Sunday, the 36-year-old actor treated fashion lovers with snippets of her regal monochromatic look.

The images feature Padukone in a tousled low bun, standing in front of a grey backdrop, sporting an off-shoulder black dress. Bedazzled with Cartier jewels on her neck and ears, the actor is seen striking poses. 

The series of images have amassed over 985, 000 likes and more than 3,000 comments. 

Reacting to the post, one user wrote, “Stop being so perfect.”

Another user added, “You’re killing me.”

One user said, “Ma’am, you are amazing.”

Padukone also uploaded a short slo-mo video of herself which features her walking and posing on a marbled staircase.

The ‘Gehraiyaan’ star also shared another set of images that display her wearing a chic Parisian attire. Padukone is seen wearing long checkered shorts, a black turtleneck and minimal gold jewelry as she strolls through a street in the French city of Cannes. She accessorized the look with a black Louis Vuitton handbag with gold details.

Another recent post features her in a pink skirt and a button-up shirt. Padukone topped the casual look with a messy bun and kohl eyes.

Deepika Padukone is a part of an eight-member jury at the Cannes Film Festival this year. According to the Hindustan Times, she recently talked about the opportunity and said, “It’s such a huge honour. It’s not something that our country’s sort of seen very often. So I think when we are given the opportunity, I think we did give up a lot of humility and a lot of gratitude.”
