NDTV reported Dr BN Sinha, an Ayurvedic expert, as saying that one should drink a glass of milk with a teaspoon of turmeric powder twice a day, daily to clear one’s throat. It is also said that turmeric contains curcumin, an anti-inflammatory antiviral compound and it has antibacterial properties.
