Turmeric

Turmeric has become an integral part of our lives in the pandemic, thanks to all sorts of kadhas and turmeric milk widely advised to boost immunity. But turmeric can be equally detrimental when mixed with tea.

When tea is taken with turmeric it causes stomach issues like constipation, acidity, and gas.

Green Vegetables

Extremely healthy if consumed regularly, Green vegetables are every mother’s dream for their kids. You must make green leafy veggies a part of your meal but leave it alone while having tea. Please.

This combination becomes literally killer as tea contains oxalates and tannins that block the absorption of iron from iron-loaded foods and green vegetables have iron.

Nuts

Repeat after us, no nuts with tea. While nuts like peanuts and grains are often considered a great snack to be paired with tea, we must avoid this combo. Nuts like green vegetables are rich in iron, which makes them totally incohesive with both milk, tea, and milk tea.
