Last year, Nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar had shared on her Instagram an informative video explaining the dos and don’ts to prevent hair loss and promote hair growth post-COVID.

Dr Diwekar shared three easy tips to help you with your hair fall issues, and regenerate new hair.

First of all Dr Diwekar says that one must not buy over expensive, chemical-laden hair products and potions in anxiety and scroll the internet for a remedy. Instead, she suggests we rediscover our kitchen ingredients and make healthy changes to our diet. Let us find out what are these changes.

Butter/ Makkhan

Dr Diwekar recommends the addition of butter to your diet, especially breakfast. You can use both homemade or market repeated butter but make sure your breakfast has a good quantity of butter.

Aliv Laddo

Aliv seeds or garden cress seeds are loaded with health benefits. They are rich in vitamins C, A and E, iron, folate, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium and protein and thus, facilitate hair regeneration.

Have at least one Aliv Laddo every day.

Do not skip breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it gives the body the nutrients needed for the overall development of the body. Hair growth is equally dependent on body metabolism as it does on external care.

Rice is a must

To deal with post-COVID hair loss, do not forget to add rice to at least one of your meals every day. Rice is absolutely necessary as per Dr Diwekar.

Proper sleep

No one can disagree that proper sleep is necessary for healthy hair. Dr Diwekar suggests that one must ensure that they don’t sleep late if suffering a hair loss issue.
