Ajay Devgan to star in Indra Kumar’s ‘Thank God’ along with Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh

Ajay Devgan, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh will star in director Indra Kumar upcoming film ‘Thank God’, PTI reported. Kumar is known for his films like ‘Masti’ and ‘Dhamaal’.

The slice-of-life comedy is scheduled to go on the floor from January 21. The director has expressed his excitement to start working on the film.

The movie will produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Anand Pandit, and Indra Kumar and co-produced by Yash Shah.

“‘Thank God’ is an interesting and entertaining script. I have worked with Ajay sir and he aces this genre while Sidharth and Rakul will show their fans something new with the film,” Bhushan Kumar of T-series said in his statement.

“Hopefully it all goes well as we have taken all the precautions necessary (for the shoot). It is an entertaining slice-of-life comedy with a message,” the director said.

Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh had starred together in ‘Aiyaary’ (2018) and ‘Marjaavaan’ (2019). This movie will be Rakul and Ajay Devgn’s third collaboration. They have previously worked on the film ‘De De Pyaar De’ (2019) and are also set to begin working on ‘Mayday’, which Devgn is directing as well.
