Chaudhary Harmohan Singh Yadav was an Indian politician and social worker from Uttar Pradesh.

Born on October 18, 1921, at a small village near Kanpur, Yadav entered politics at the age of 31 under the guidance of his elder brother.

In 1970, he was elected as a Member of the Legislative Council from Farukhabad-Kanpur, a position he managed to retain till 1982.

In 1991, Yadav was elected as a member of the Rajya Sabha and went on to become the member of several Parliament Committees. He remained a Rajya Sabha member for a total of 12 years.

He also received the Shaurya Chakra award in 1991 for protecting Sikhs during the anti-Sikh riots of 1984 in the aftermath of Indira Gandhi’s assassination. Yadav died in 2012.
