‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ owner Kanta Prasad opens restaurant in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar

Prasad, owner of famous ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’, took a new turn as he is now the owner of a restaurant. The 80-year-old opened his own restaurant in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar. “We’re
very happy, god has blessed us. I want to thank people for their help, I appeal
to them to visit my restaurant. We will serve Indian and Chinese cuisine here,” Prasad told news agency ANI.

The local
food joint ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ in New Delhi became internet sensation in a single
day after food vlogger Gaurav Wasan shared a video of him and his wife crying over
financial crisis amid lockdown. His
video went viral and the elderly couple received so much of love and support
from all over India. People from all over Delhi came to visit them and eat
their food, which was really delicious and reasonable, according to Wasan in his
video.

However,
later the owner of dhaba accused the food vlogger of cheating him and not
giving the money, which the YouTuber allegedly received on his behalf. He even
filed a complaint against Wasan to which the vlogger said that he has provided him
all the money and denied every allegations. Soon, he also presented his bank
details as the proof.

Some people
allegedly accused that Prasad is a fraud and some said bad things about the
YouTuber of taking advantage of the couple.

However, now
the situation looks fine and Baba seems happy in his life with his wife.
