BJP MP Ram Swaroop Sharma found hanging inside Delhi residence

Ram Swaroop Sharma, the BJP MP from Mandi, died in New Delhi on Wednesday. Sharma is alleged to have died by suicide, reports ANI. The Bharatiya Janata Party leader was found hanging at a flat in Gomti Apartments.

The Lok Sabha on Wednesday was adjourned till 1 pm after the House paid tribute to BJP MP Ram Swaroop Sharma and ex-MP Dilip Gandhi.

Several senior BJP leaders paid tributes to Sharma. 

Born at Jalpehar village in Mandi district on June 10, 1958, Sharma was a two-time MP.

He was elected to the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha from Mandi parliamentary constituency in 2014 and 2019 respectively.
