Delhi night curfew: Who all are exempt. Full list

  • The Delhi government has imposed a night curfew till April 31
  •  The night curfew will not be applicable to private doctors, nurses and paramedical staff if an ID card is produced

The night curfew, imposed on Tuesday by Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi government, will be in effect from 10 pm to 5 am till  April 30. But certain categories have been exempted from these restrictions, they include doctors, nurses, passengers going to airports and railway stations among others.

Who are exempt?

The night curfew will not be applicable to private doctors, nurses and paramedical staff if an ID card is produced. Passengers going to airports, railway stations and bus stations will be exempted if a valid ticket is produced. So are pregnant women and patients going for treatment, reports ANI quoting the Delhi government.

What about buses, metros?

Night curfew will also not apply to buses, metro, autos, taxis and other modes of public transport ferrying only those people who are exempt from night curfew. 

What about essential services?

Departments providing essential services will remain exempt. Rules are applicable to the movement of people and not essential goods and services. Owners of ration, general, fruits, vegetables and medical stores will be allowed on e-pass. Print and electronic media personnel will be allowed to commute with an e-pass.

What happens to the 24X7 vaccination order?

People can get vaccinated but need to have an e-pass.
